Confirm mandatory qualifications

Check contractor licensing, trade licensing, insurance, bonding, prevailing wage, safety plans, certified payroll, permits, and subcontractor requirements.

Map the complete scope

Separate demolition, materials, labor, equipment, disposal, temporary protection, permits, testing, closeout, warranty, and punch-list work.

Test cash flow before margin

Estimate deposits, supplier terms, retainage, payment timing, payroll, and the cost of changes. A profitable bid can still fail if the business cannot finance delivery.
